DESCRIPTION:Emergencies can expose municipalities to significant legal\, financial\, and operational risks. Presented in partnership with Fillmore Riley LLP\, this session will explore practical strategies to reduce liability before\, during\, and after events such as fires\, floods\, severe weather\, and other emergencies. Learn how sound governance\, emergency planning\, documentation\, and informed decision-making can help protect your municipality while strengthening community resilience. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nMMA Members will receive 2 PD points for registering and attending this session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFRAMEWORK ALIGNMENT:   \n\n\n\nThis session supports the PROCESS pillar of the MMA Competency Framework by strengthening competencies in Financial Management – Risk Management.
