This session explores the critical connections between asset management plans\, strategic plans\, climate plans\, master plans and long-term financial plans.  \n\n\n\nLearn how to align planning documents across departments and ensure consistency in direction\, language and goals helping your municipality make coordinated\, strategic decisions that support service delivery and sustainability.  \n\n\n\nThis course focuses on both the “why” and the “how” of integration.  \n\n\n\nDelivered by NAMS Canada in partnership with Manitoba Municipal Administrators.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMMA Members will receive 2 PD credits for attending this session. \n\n\n\n\nFramework Alignment: \n\n\n\nThis session supports the Plans pillar of the MMA Competency Framework by building skills in Organisational Planning and Management. It helps participants understand how to align multiple municipal plans—like asset management\, strategic\, climate\, and financial plans—to support coordinated decision-making and long-term sustainability. This session explores how to clearly articulate what services are being delivered and at what standard and cost.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will examine different types of service levels and how to connect them to real-world costs and community expectations. The session includes an interactive exercise to define levels of service for a sample municipal service area\, making the theory tangible.  \n\n\n\nDelivered by NAMS Canada in partnership with Manitoba Municipal Administrators.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMMA Members will receive 2 PD credits for attending this session. \n\n\n\n\nFramework Alignment: \n\n\n\nThis session supports the Process pillar of the MMA Competency Framework by building skills in the Asset Management competency\, specifically under Service Delivery and Risk Management. It helps participants define and evaluate levels of service by clearly linking service standards to costs and community expectations.
