DESCRIPTION:**To be recognized as a graduate\, you must apply for graduation through the University of Manitoba.  Once your application has been approved\, the MMA will receive official confirmation from the University.** \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn conjunction with our Annual Conference each year\, the MMA hosts a graduation banquet in honor of the Graduates. DESCRIPTION:Risk management is at the core of informed municipal decision-making. This session focuses on identifying\, assessing and communicating risks that could impact your community’s ability to deliver services.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will explore how to link risk with levels of service and lifecycle costs\, while considering both operational and strategic-level risks. The session includes a hands-on activity to help participants apply risk thinking to real-world service areas.  \n\n\n\nDelivered by NAMS Canada in partnership with Manitoba Municipal Administrators.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMMA Members will receive 2 PD credits for attending this session. \n\n\n\n\nFramework Alignment: \n\n\n\nThis session supports the Process pillar of the MMA Competency Framework by building skills in the Asset Management competency\, specifically under Service Delivery and Risk Management. It helps participants identify\, assess\, and communicate risks that may affect a municipality’s ability to deliver services. By linking risk to levels of service and lifecycle costs\, the session strengthens risk-informed planning at both operational and strategic levels\, supporting more resilient and accountable municipal decision-making.
