The MMA is proud to share that five exceptional individuals were nominated for the inaugural Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Leadership in Municipal Administration.
Each nominee has demonstrated outstanding leadership, integrity, and commitment to strengthening local government and their community. They represent a truly remarkable group of municipal professionals whose passion, innovation, and dedication set an inspiring example for others in the field.
The recipient of the 2025 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Leadership in Municipal Administration will be announced at a later date.
The Member Standards Committee carefully reviewed all submissions.
Each committee member independently evaluated each nominee using a structured score sheet based on the criteria outlined in the Award Policy.
To ensure a fair and transparent process, scores were not shared among committee members, and any member with a potential conflict of interest stepped aside from the review.
The Manitoba Municipal Administrators Association extends its sincere appreciation to the Member Standards Committee for their diligence, integrity, and thoughtful consideration throughout this process.
