CMMA Graduates – Information & Next Steps
Congratulations on completing the Certified Municipal Management Associate (CMMA) program!
This page provides important information for CMMA graduates, including certificate details, graduation events, and next steps with the Association.
Certificates & Recognition
CMMA certificates are issued by the University of Manitoba upon confirmation of program completion and are sent directly to the MMA. The MMA holds the certificates for formal presentation at the MMA Annual Conference. Scanned copies of the certificates are provided to graduates in advance for their records and professional use.
Graduation Details
In conjunction with the MMA Annual Conference, the MMA hosts an annual Graduation Banquet in honour of CMMA Graduates. Graduates are invited to attend a VIP reception held prior to the banquet and are provided with complimentary admission to the banquet. Escorts are welcome to attend both the VIP reception and the banquet; however, banquet admission for escorts must be purchased. Further details regarding dates, times, locations, and escort purchase options will be provided in advance of the Annual Conference.
Membership & Next Steps
Association Membership
CMMA graduates are encouraged to become members of the Association. Graduates who are already members are reminded to update their professional profile to reflect completion of the CMMA program.
Professional Development Credits
CMMA coursework may qualify for professional development (PD) credits in accordance with Association policy. Eligibility for PD credits and any applicable limits are subject to review and approval. Graduates are encouraged to retain all course documentation for their records.
