FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION BOOT CAMP – Level 1

While this professional development and continuing learning opportunity will appeal to all CAO’s, Assistant CAO’s and Finance Officers, it will be of most benefit to those who are new to municipal government and those who wish to develop professionally and progress to new levels of responsibilities.
The boot camp is space limited to a maximum of 30 per boot camp. The sessions will be interactive and intensive offering administrators an opportunity to keep current with best practices in both finance and administration.
The small class size will allow more in-depth discussion and hands on learning – Maximum 30 participants
Topics will include:·
Successful budgeting & strategies for setting mill rates
Financial accounting processes and PSAB Financial reporting
Administration best practices including bylaws and policies
