Expand on the concepts from Learning Payroll I by exploring more complex processes and government requirements. This interactive, exercise-based seminar covers the fundamentals of taxable earnings, allowances and benefits, terminations and garnishments.

Payroll Admin 2 is an advanced workshop that builds on the foundational knowledge acquired in Payroll Admin 1. This workshop delves into the detailed processes of preparing payroll records, government remittances, year-end reporting, and employee termination records. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including compiling payroll data, preparing remittances, and completing year-end documentation, to ensure a thorough understanding of advanced payroll functions.

Outcomes:

  • Compile and process payroll data in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare accurate and timely payroll records and accounting treatments.
  • Determine and prepare statutory remittances and year-end reports.
  • Understand and apply employment standards to the payroll process.
  • Prepare employee termination records and related documentation.
