The Rural Municipality of Headingley is located in Manitoba, Canada; with our municipal office located at 1-126 Bridge Road. Headingley is situated directly west of the City of Winnipeg and is just over 41 square miles in land mass. Headingley is a growing community with over 4,300 residents offering a number of big city amenities and services while maintaining a semi-rural atmosphere. The municipality has a dynamic and service-oriented structure with several departments including but not limited to: Governance, Municipal Services, Planning Services, Building & Development, Protective Services, and Recreation & Community Group Services.
The Opportunity
The Rural Municipality is currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill a permanent full-time position of Financial Clerk. The Financial Clerk is responsible for performing financial, budgeting and accounting duties to support the delivery of financial services to the RM and to the Headingley Municipal Library. The position is also responsible for serving customers at the front counter, answering calls and directing to the proper person.
